Top Sandalwood actress Biaenca Desai is looking forward to being in Weekend. "I'm acting opposite Arjun Sarja in the Tinu Varma action thriller, which will also star Sayali Bhagat and Rajneish Duggal," she explains, "I am always getting offers from Bollywood, but until now, I wasn't happy with them because my character was not given enough importance in the script." In Weekend, Biaenca plays a doctor.

Biaenca, who appeared in the hits Rocky, opposite Yash, Ghulama and Yogi, opposite Yogish, also recently appeared in Koffi Bar, opposite Shashank, which is currently being dubbed into Hindi and English. Raised in the Emirates and Australia, Biaenca has a degree in fashion design from Sydney.

Biaenca is also an expert in taekwondo, so beware any directors thinking of the casting couch, and she's not afraid to use it. "A couple of years back, when I was in Mumbai, I was travelling by train," she says, "Someone tried to misbehave with me. That was when I kicked him. My friends even now tease me for that."
