All speculation can now be put to rest. My Name is Khan will be releasing on 12th of February 2010 as a Valentine Gift. After eight years, we will see Bollywood's favourite on-screen couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, back together. Fox Star Studio and Dharma Productions confirmed the release date of My Name is Khan in a press release. The film will initially release in India and 40 other countries including the USA, Canada, Britain, Aurtralia and the Middle East.

In My Name is Khan, Shah Rukh Khan becomes Rizvan Khan, an unconventional hero who embarks on an incredible journey across America in order to win back the love of his life. Along the way, his unique brand of goodness and humanity touches the lives of many and inspires a nation.

Karan Johar says that he is always trying out new things, but there is one element that stays constant in every film. "The one constant desire is to continue to explore the many ways in which two people can fall in love and stay in love regardless of any or every challenge against them."

There is already a huge response towards the film and now with the release date confirmed, we only have to wait.
