Sultry Reema Sen turns 28 years old today with the news that her latest movie - the big budget Aayirathil Oruvan which also stars Karthi - will be released on Republic Day. The post-production on this Indiana Jones-style adventure is taking longer to complete than the director anticipated, but he argues it will be worth the wait. Reema is hoping this will be the movie that cements her star status.

Kolkata-born Reema, who won an Award for her debut in Minnale, has also appeared in Bollywood movies such as Aan: Men At Work and Malamaal Weekly before focusing on her very successful career in the south, most recently with Thimiru, Vallavan and Rendu.

Reema, who is making her first movie in two years, admits she is now far more careful about the roles she chooses than she was at first. “I have become lot more patient now,” she confirmed, “I was not a very patient person when I started off my career. I was very hyper earlier.”
