In just about 2 weeks the new film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (APKGK) starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will hit theaters. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the comedy film is said to be not your average filmi film... it is romantic comedy but in a new way. Katrina Kaif in a recent interview with TOI said that APKGK, "It's an ordinary love story about ordinary people leading ordinary lives, but told in a very unusual way." Which Ranbir said was the "perfect way to describe it".

"Prem is an ajab kind of guy. As life president of Happy Club, he's always trying to make everybody happy, but somehow it always ends in disaster! He kidnaps Jenny by mistake. Big mistake!! Because now Jenny thinks he’s the worst from on earth. Ouch!! But he thinks she’s beautiful...She's vanilla ice cream...Yummy!! Love can make you do the strangest things... and if Prem is ajab, his love his ghazab too! He's never worked in his life - now he's spending hours and hours churning out ladoos and frying jalebis in a halwal shop...sweat and slurp!! He's always been a shudh vegetarian - now he's putting tigers to shame with the chicken he's eating. Chomp Chomp!! And as icing on the wedding cake, he even helps Jenny run away from her own wedding. Run Baby Run!! With a furious father, frustrated bridegroom, greedy don and wily politician running after them... What's going to happen now? Prem's Prem Kahani had an ajab beginning will it have a ghazab ending?"

From the promos the film certainly looks to be an out and out madcap comedy, though Ranbir clarified, "It has a lovely story, it's not just a bunch of jokes put together." Adding APKGK is, "A complete entertainer. It's a meant for everyone."

Speaking of the promos they certainly show that this new jodi works and how! About the chemistry between the two Ranbir said, "Chemistry is not something that two individuals have, it's what two characters have in a film. And it's great that people are seeing this chemistry because this is a romantic film. I am happy that people can see it even in the promos of the film."

So, get ready for the lovely Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, sporting not only his sexy look but also seven others, when this prem kahani that is a little ajab hits theaters on November 6th!
