Lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are not talking to one another. The couple have once again found themselves in an argument which has caused a serious rift in their relationship for the nth time. And this time, Ranbir simply left for Bhopal where he is currently shooting for Rajneeti, after their fallout. In fact the actress nearly didn’t turn up to Karan Johar’s fashion extravaganza because of her quarrel with her beau who walked the ramp for the popular director-producer.

The reason for their jhagda? A source revealed to a leading daily, “Everyone knows that Neetu [Kapoor] never really approved of Deepika for her son even though Ranbir tried and succeeded, to a large extent, to make his mom thaw towards his girl.” It seems that Deepika was ready to take their relationship to the next level, i.e. engagement, but Ranbir was still waiting on his Mom’s complete “approval” before he could take any further step. Additionally, Ranbir himself “feels he is far too young” to be getting engaged at this point in his life and career.

In the recent past, the lovers have made much effort in their relationship even though they dually have crazy schedules. Ranbir has often taken time out of his schedule to go meet Deepika and vice versa. However, the same source also claimed that the number of “happier moments” have lessened between the couple. A close friend of Deepika’s even went on to add, “They are together. Fights happen in every relationship. This is the eighth time that everyone's convinced they are heading for a split. But it's all fine. They've patched up.”
