Recently Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were seen advocating and voicing their opinions at an award show that Bachchan Senior is the brand ambassador (read: IIFA), regarding the environment. However, the first family is often seen riding around in their fancy high-end vehicles including Lexus SUV’s. On the green carpet, the father-son duo spoke about the urgent need to control "emissions of toxic gases."

While in India, the cars have not yet been banned, in the United States, these bulky cars will slowly be "phased out" in order to help reduce carbon dioxide discharge. An unnamed source from the industry went on to claim, "It is funny how they talk about global warming and eco-friendly means of travel, but when it comes to implementing it themselves, they fail miserably."

On a side note the Bachchans are individually working on different projects. Starting with the most senior Bachchan, Amitabh is working on Balki’s Pa and Teen Patti which will see him in the same frame as Ben Kingsley. Son Abhishek will next be seen in Pa alongside his father and Raavan with wife Aishwarya. Ash of course will feature in Raavan and Action Replay opposite Akshay Kumar.
