We all have our personal favorite song from Delhi 6. With ‘Masakali’ taking the crown in the album and the title track not far behind for most of the populous, Abhishek Bachchan has own favorite from track: ‘Genda Phool’. You remember the picturization? It was Bachchan, Waheeda Rehman and the rest of the ladies up on the roof, making pickles as they break out into the fusion number.

However, unknown to most, Abhishek is behind the choreography of the song. His “stylish Genda shake” to the song has become a rage and his choreography, the thumbs up sign. According to Bachchan, director Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, did not want to hire a choreographer for the track and briefed all the actors to “go with the flow.” It was then that the actor jutted out his stylish moves and improvised the choreography for the dance. After receiving much appreciation for the move, he has decided to copyright the move, “It’s time I applied for a copyright. Nowadays I call it the AB dance,” he went on to say. Additionally, Bachchan Jr. apparently looks for chances to dance to the song, and the minute the track is played anywhere, he is the first person to hit the dance floor.

It seems that Abhishek Bachchan has added another name to his list of job titles: actor, rapper, and now choreographer.
