Shilpa Shetty and her boyfriend Raj Kundra threw an extravagant Holi party to kick off the celebrations in Bollywood this week. Shilpa certainly has a lot to celebrate at the moment with the opening of her own spa chain of beauty and fitness centres, her recent purchase of the Rajasthan Royals cricket team, and the persistent rumours of an impending marriage for her and Raj.

The party was well attended by Shilpa's close friends in the industry, including Madhavan, Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Shiney Ahuja, Farah Khan, Kabir Bedi and the lovely Monica Bedi.

Shilpa is currently involved in a number of interesting movie projects including Kaanch - The Broken Glass with Esha Deol which is an eternal triangle love story; The Man with Sunny Deol, in which Shilpa stars as an international celebrity; and the supernatural thriller Forever which stars Edward Furlong, Dennis Hopper and Camille Solari and finally The Desire, with Anupam Kher and Xia Yu about a woman's spiritual journey in life.
