Salman Khan’s new multi-crore project Veer has new problems with protesters holding up production at the Amber Fort where scenes are being filmed. "If they want to make a movie here, then they should show the Fort as it is," said a protester. There is concern that the filming will damage the Fort but director Anil Sharma disputes this. "I can vouch that not a single nail has been struck on the premises of the fort,” he says, “In fact we have even put cloth on the floor of the area where the set is being constructed so that the floor is not damaged.” The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Sohail Khan and Lisa Lazarus.

Salman will be making an extended guest appearance opposite Kareen Kapoor in the movie Main Aur Mrs Khanna and he recently chartered a flight for her at short notice so they could film together in Thailand. The film is being produced by Salman’s brother Sohail Khan who has an affair in the movie with Kareena. Preity Zinta will be doing an item number.

It looks as though Salman will not be able to meet up with Katrina Kaif for Valentine’s Day as they will be in different parts of the world on that day. Do they have any alternative plans? “Yes! Salman and I have plans on V-day,” confirms Katrina, “Unfortunately, not together. I’m shooting a song in Turkey with Rajkumar Santoshi; while Salman is shooting for Veer in northern India. Unless he plans to surprise me, of course!”
