Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is one of the most highly anticipated films to release this year. The film brings back director Aditya Chopra, with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and also introduces Anushka Sharma to Bollywood fans. The trailers and pictures have whipped fans into a frenzy and they are counting down the hours now til the film releases on December 12th.

Such is the excitement about the film that industry experts are predicting that the film should have an 80-100% opening at the box-office. However, Yash Raj is cautious about the film’s returns in the first week due to the recent Mumbai attacks but feels the takings will increase over time.

You may have noticed that they have kept the promotions for the film on the down low but that is just until after the film releases. A source from Yash Raj said, “The film is expected to open well and that's when Yash Raj plans to go full on with their second stage of promotions. There are a lot of media interactions planned once the film is out. Those who have seen the film cannot stop gushing about it and are sure that King Khan will take away all the major awards for Best Actor for 2008."

Not only is RNBDJ releasing in India on December 12th it is also releasing in Europe on the same day. This is the first time a Bollywood film has had a same day release in 30 countries worldwide including Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

A Yash Raj source said, “It can now be said it is not only the biggest releases from Hollywood are eagerly awaited by thousands of people overseas, but they will now understand that there is nothing quite like Hindi cinema to transport you to a different world and take your blues away."

With the tagline: “There is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi”, we are sure this film that will transport audiences all over the globe into a world of love. We know we can’t wait to see it!

Since Friday, 12th is a Holiday in Sri Lanka we have to wait paitently till Saturday to watch the movie. Just counting the hours. SRK's performance is going to be awesome in the movie. No doubt, he's the BEST in Bollywood.

I am disappointed that although 4 songs are catchy in RNBJ by Yashraj Films standard that is just too few. And for a Aditya Chopra directed
venture after several years what is missing is the voices of Udit , Lata and Asha. In DDLJ Asha gave a memorable duet Zara Sa Jhumloon Mein and melodious duets by Lataji and Udit has given so many memorable hits in Yashraj Films starring SRK. So why no Udit in RNBJ ? When I listened to Roop Kumar Rathod singing Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai I wished the same song was also a duet in the voices of RKR and Lataji the way they sang Tere Liye in Veer Zaara. This song was custom made for Lataji. And why is Shreya Ghosal wasted with a few lines ? I will see the movie nevertheless.
