It is a known fact that Himesh Reshammiya is one of the biggest stars of Indian Music. So far he has done it all, from composing, producing to acting and singing. According to Himesh, he got his start early in the music business, "I have always been crazy about music and when I started to producing serials at 16, I was already composing the title tracks of the serials. I got my first break as a producer with Ahmedabad Doordarshan. One of my biggest feats as a producer was the success of Andaz that boasted of a glittering starcast. But, in my heart I always wanted to be a music director. However, no one would have given a break to a 16-year-old. So, I worked hard as a producer, but kept on composing. Eventually, I was able to turn my hobby into profession. It is the best thing that can happen to anyone."

He was hugely successful as a music director with many of his soundtracks becoming chartbusters. One of his most successful was Tere Naam, which got raves from fans and critics alike. Himesh then decided to add another aspect to his music by singing his songs himself and the rest they as they say is history. Throughout his career, and especially once he took the microphone, he has gained legions or as he calls them lakhs of fans and is one of the most popular music celebrities working today. In 2007, he also added actor to his resume with Aap Ka Suroor and this Friday we will see him in his second film Karzzzz.
