First it was on, then delayed and then no one heard for a long while about the project Happy Birthday. The film directed by Sriram Raghavan was to star the highly anticipated pairing of Aishwarya Rai with John Abraham. However, now reports are that the project is no longer a go.

Seems that because Raghavan has not yet completed the script, and Aishwarya is busy with both Enthiram (once known as Robot) and Mani Rantman’s next, that dates for filming could not be worked out.

Director Raghavan said, “I'm now focusing on Agent Vinod which Saif will produce and star in. Hopefully, I'll return to ‘Happy Birthday’ at some point of time. I love the subject. Ideally, I'd like to make it with the same pair."

So, until then or another fab script comes along audiences will have to wait to see two of the beautiful people onscreen together.
