I hate her cuz she is so FAKE!! I dont think that she is the most beautiful woman in the World! Nah! And she isnt a good actress..she was great in 3-4 movies but thatz it!!

I understand that she is a very beautiful woman and has does lots for India yadda yadda. However, which is the new so called trend in Bollywood, the fake accent annoys the crap out of me. Do NOT talk in an american/british accent UNLESS you have lived/born there and still retain the accent otherwise it looks extremely fake and stupid. Needless to say, most of her laughs/giggles seem forced to me, that make me want to throw something.

^^I think she is a really lovely individual. I have never really noticed her accent that strongly. Also, her giggles and laughs have always been so cute.
I don't think she's fake either. People claim she uses too much botox, but I've seen close-ups of her face and it doesn't seem to have the characteristics of a botoxified (hehe) face. Another thing, I don't understand why people keep saying she looks too old. She still looks like she is in her twenties to me.

People just like to pick on her. :(

I used to loathe her badly before...Ask anyone out there on BS...I was probably her biggest loather over here...My day would start with Aishwarya bashing and it would end with Aishwarya bashing :P But Now I actually admire this lady...I dunt hate her anymore...And I would like to give a HUGE HUGE HUGE credit of it to Sahil...He's a sweet-heart...He is the one coz of whom Now I like this lady...Thanx Buddy :D
But Oh well I can't help it....Whenever I see her with Abhishek i go fuminggggggggggggggg :P LOL I juz dunt like their couple AT ALL........I always wish there was Rani instead of Ash :( :P

Well on that I must say I don't agree...
I mean I'm trying really hard to retain my french accent when I speak spanish or english cause I think it just sounds bad :P and my wish would be to speak with a perfect accent (wether it is british or american or spanish) and that doesn't mean I'm ashamed of sounding french.
One of my biggest pride is a spanish friend of mine calling me after a few months, and taking me for a real spanish girl :P
So well, maybe ash is trying too hard but personally I can't blame her for that :P

No, I didn't mean that Shaima :P I mean if you fake an accent just to look cool. Several stars do that nowadays, and it's not cool but plain idiotic. It's like trying to sound British or American, but failing badly. But, it seems like you're not, and are doing perfectly well at it. That's a huge difference. If you can pull it off, props to you! If you can't, for god's sake don't do it in public :P That's my only rant.

Darky, the throwing something sentiment I share deeply with you haha...When she giggles as she throws her head back I seriously contemplate pulling my hair out thats how frustrating and annoying she is. She's soooo dumb! It pains me to see a girl at her platform with no damn brain, if she had one gosh she'd go so much further!!!

She gives the impression that Indian cinema is all about glamour and beauty because thats all people see in her and ithat annoys me because we've got more credible subject matters tackled in our cinema than hollywood can ever even attempt to and many of our actresses like Konkona Sen Sharma and Nandita Das can give any Oscar winner a run for their money! Yet Ash doesn't come close and is given this huge status!!!argh!
