It's an alright song. It might grow on me if I listen to it more. Beyonce always sings better than Alicia, Alicia sounds like shes sick. I see it as: Beyonce is the better singer but Alicia is the better musician.

^I highly disagree. I think Alicia is better overall, but I just wish she had not got caught up in this whole "auto" tune or tinkering with the music. Alicia is what soul is about...although I can't really say anything on this song since I haven't listened to it yet ^__^

I was talking about this song. Beyonce sang way better than Alicia.

Alicia has been sounding really horrible these days. At the Haiti Event she sounded like a cat and in this song she sounds awful! I love Alicia but she sounds badddddddd.

Beyonce out-sang her in the Haiti show and in this song and now their shooting the video where I am quite sure Beyonce will out-do her again.

Alicia K always impresses me but then I haven't listened to this yet. Agree with J...Alicia is the better artist.

If by artist you mean writing, composing, etc. Then yes Alicia has more soul. But when it comes to pure entertainment and singing Beyonce wins. As much as I love Alicia she is pretty boring on stage, all she does is sit at her piano and she can't do another important thing....dance. Beyonce can sing and dance at the same time but doesn't have that much soul in her music. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

I agree with Shawn, Beyonce will outshine* Alicia in the video.

Yeah Alicia is a good writer. But that's all she is for me.

Their both great.

Alicia has writing to her advantange and Beyonce has her dancing to her advantage. But this is the "entertainment" industry which is why I personally support Beyonce :D
