Mark Ruffalo and Leonardo DiCaprio star in director Martin Scorsese's creepy 'Shutter Island,' one of several promising movies on tap for this fall.I spent the better part of Monday downloading movie trailers to post online with our Fall Movie Preview, which is set to publish in early September. It's fairly tedious work -- and, for technological reasons that I won't bore you with other than to say Ryan down in IT hooked me up, it's relatively frustrating, too.
There was a definite upside, though: I got to watch a bunch of cool trailers.
Here's a look at the five that grabbed me the most.
2. "SHUTTER ISLAND"
With Leonardo DiCaprio doing a Boston accent, and Martin Scorsese seemingly doing an M. Night Shyamalan imitation, this is one hard-to-ignore film. (Bonus: Our own Patricia Clarkson figures prominently, in the trailer at least.) (Release date: Oct 2.)
