Part 3
Muskaan have her eyes stuck into the yellow file Dr Keerti hands in to her, she still in a shock.

Muskaan – Operation? Lifting her head slowly

Dr Keerti – urm… I am sorry?

Muskaan – Doctor Keerti, so the bleeding because of a lump in Ranveer’s stomach and…

Dr Keerti – the file says that, right doctor Muskaan? Turning to go

Muskaan – we need to do an operation, as soon as possible before it damages the whole…

Dr Keerti – that’s right, you have to prepare it as soon as you can

Muskaan – but Doctor Keerti…

Dr Keerti – no buts doctor Muskaan, this man’s life in danger. Now go… your duty in general ward is cancel.

Dr Keerti went opposite direction to Muskaan and she also follows Dr Keerti and went with her.

At the café

Café is the second place where the interns spent time eating and drinking, which like most of the time. In their breaks they all come here... all sort of things happen in this place, fighting, dancing and sometimes also romance.

Riddhima enter, Anjali was already in the café with Armaan, Anjali saw Ridz and move the chair next to her so Ridz can sit there, but she was about sit next to Armaan but after she saw what Anjali did she decided to sit next to her.

Riddhima – hey di, hi Armaan

Anjali – hi Ridzi gave Ridz a tired sleepy smile and Armaan just nod with half smile

Riddhima – you both look very tired

Anjali – what do you except? Mr. Behja’s case so complicated… he got sugar, high blood pressure, cholesterol… Putting her hands to her sheets name an illness that old man got it.

Riddhima – DI! He is a patient and you’re just over tired.

Anjali – you know I didn’t really mean it smiling at Ridz, Riddhima put her hand on Anji’s shoulder and comfort her, then look at Armaan in corner of her eye.

Riddhima – what is wrong Armaan? Armaan look away but then he slowly look at Ridz then he slowly look back at Ridz and gestured her sit next to the chair next to him. Ridz look away shaking her head, after little while of silent she gets up I am going to her a sandwich for me, anyone want something? Nobody answer, then she move toward the counter

Rahul and Atul enter to the café singing ‘Yeh Dosati Hum Nahi Bulenge’ and saw Anji and Armaan sitting, it was very odd to see Anji and Armaan very tired look and other hand Atul and Rahul behave very lively and happy. At the same time Ridz came and went toward the chair next to Armaan, and Rahul didn’t saw her and sit on that chair. Then Ridz move to sit next to Anji when Atul took that seat as well.

Atul – hey Armaan, hi Anjali, hey Ridz… why my bro you look like someone just died

Rahul – hey Riddhima, where is Muskaan?

Riddhima – oh, she is getting ready to go to the operation thea….

Atul – WHAT? MUSKAAN AND OPERATION?

At the same time their pager went off, everyone took their pager s from their lab coat and check.

Armaan – Dr Keerti, operation theatre, now… he got up to go

Atul – me too… Following Armaan

Riddhima – I think it’s all of us everyone got up one after another and make their way to the operation theatre

Muskaan was just outside the operation theatre covered in green coat and green cap, she is praying to god.

Muskaan – please, help me looking up please, please folding her hands together please…

Dr Keerti – entering behind her and making Muskaan jump you will do fine doctor Muskaan, shall we? Pointing to the door to go in, Muskaan put her while mask on and they both went in

When Muskaan enter she saw the rest if the gang is sitting in the otherside of the operation theatre which is divided from a glass, so interns can see how the operation done and things work.

Atul mouthed ‘Good Luck’ to Muskaan and Armaan gave her thumbs up with a wink. Rahul smiled and winked. Muskaan is so happy to see all of her friends sitting there to support her and wishing her.

The operation start,

Muskaan is fine for while she hand in the equipments to Dr Keerti and checked the heart rate from the monitor and other stuff. It was all calm for while but blood start appearing from where it cut, Muskaan got disturb and saw blood, she felt dizzy everything start going black and she faints.

Keerti – in shock Doctor Muskaan!

Muskaan – sorry mam placing her hand on the forehead

Keerti – angrily please leave, doctor Muskaan

Muskaan – but mam, I am fin…

Keerti – no your not, go now I have no time to waste, this man can die because of your childish behavior, now leave!

Muskaan runs out, from the other side Ridz runs out thinking to comfort her, Muskaan took her green coat off and the hat and the mask, slowly recapping what just happen. She start washing her hands, Ridz appear next to Muskaan

Riddhima – Muskaan, you okay

Muskaan – half angry, half crying no Ridz, I am not, I am not fine! And run out from the place trying to her self from crying, as soon as she left Rahul came out

Riddhima – you’re the only one… who can comfort her

In The Locker Room

Muskaan crying non-stop, she can’t understand why she is crying, behind her was Rahul entering in the locker room. Slowly he came and put his hand on her shoulder uncomfortably. Muskaan turn to see who it is and when she saw its Rahul she hug him at once.

Rahul – kneeling down, so they both at the same level shshssh... Muskaan why are you crying, this is not the first time he look like he also about to cry

Muskaan – that’s why Rahul, I can’t do this, why should I be a doctor if I cant even do a operation??... wiping her tears off that patient nearly died because of me… oh why do I do this.

Rahul – putting his finger on her lips you talk too much, which brings a small smile to her face, you know what? You are a great doctor, think about all the other people who got well because of you… think Muskaan and also….. I like the bubbly Muskaan, where is she? Pretending to search inside Muskaan’s pockets for bubbly Muskaan.

She slowly starts smiling and she hugs Rahul to show her appreciation, he was in surprise and shock but then he didn’t step back he also put his arm around her.

Part 4

In The Locker Room

Neither Rahul nor Muskaan ever had been this close to each other before. Rahul got both his arms around her waist and Muskaan had her arms around Rahul’s neck. Rahul hold her tighter and Muskaan also let him, everything turns out to be happening in slow motion to both Muskaan and Rahul. Suddenly they remember that they not really married to each other and neither do they know that both of them had feelings for each other. They took their arms off one and another and moved away from each other.

Rahul – happen, these stuff embraced and no idea what to say Urm… others think to made something up and get out I’ll… urm… go and look. He went out from the locker room before Muskaan say something

Rahul exit to the left direction and from the right direction enter the rest of the interns bit worried, but they were relief to see Muskaan fine and happy.
Ridz and Anji walk straight to her and Atul and Armaan sat on the bench nearby.

Riddhima – putting her arms around Muskaan you alright?

Anjali – putting her hands on her shoulder thank god, I was worried, don’t worry nothing really bad happen, your patient Ranveer is fine gave her a hug

Muskaan – is it finish? Her pager goes off she took it out and look Doctor Keerti, need to see her as soon as possible… got to run she took her stuff and made an exit

Riddhima – look until Muskaan leave I hope everything will be fine… I am scared what will doctor Keerti say; I mean this is not the first time…

Anjali – I know guys walking toward her locker I mean she is a good doctor but... You know…

Atul – I know, Doctor Keerti’s job is always to look for people’s wrong. She should… you know… those jail guards. What do you think turning to Anjali but she just gave him a look, so he turn to Armaan, Armaan, what do you think.

Armaan – what is the point of what I think?

Anjali – Armaan, when your shift starts?

Armaan – like in 45 minutes, but I have to go and do some check ups in general ward, he turn and went out from the locker room leaving everybody confuse of his behaviour

Atul – what is wrong with him, didn’t even talk properly since morning.

Riddhima – looking bit worried, guys… I have to go too, duties… see you later walk out

Anjali – see you Ridz

Atul – bye Ridz moved near to his locker

Anjali decided to go to the changing room so she wet toward the changing room and she slipped and fall over, Atul saw this and jump to the front to save Anjali, she fall into his arms and Atul save her just in time, and they were never close to each other before. Anjali is shocked and embraced and Atul just lost in Anjali’s eyes dreaming, Anjali look at him questioning at smiling Atul and that when he snapped back to reality and let Anjali stand up properly.

Atul – oh, sorry Anjali stroking his hair with a shy tone

Anjali – deciding to go back to her locker it’s no problem Atul she took her stuff and went toward the door and looked back at Atul, who suddenly start going through his stuff

Anjali – Atul?

Atul – yes Anjali?

Anjali – thank you, thank you for not letting me fall

Atul – its ok Anjali, I would never let you fall look down smiling to himself

Anjali – laugh at Atul’s behaviour coffee peene challenge?

Atul came running he would never loose a chance to have a coffee with Anjali specially when she ask him which never happened before, Anjali took it as a yes and they two went toward the café.

Just Outside the Reception

Muskaan and Dr Keerti is standing outside the reception, Muskaan’s head was down and Dr Keerti frowning in anger at Muskaan

Keerti – Doctor Muskaan… what do you think you are doing? You are a doctor, an intern doctor in sanjeewani for 1 and half years now, think about it to yourself….

Rahul at that time came slowly toward the reception, Keerti looked at him in surprise and Muskaan raise her eyebrow at him. Rahul slowly look around him.

Keerti – doctor Rahul? What are you doing here?

Rahul – urm… mam, I … reception, pointing at the reception desk and the place where files are kept I came to pick up my files… turning to reception so it doesn’t look like he is listening

Keerti – turning back to Muskaan So Doctor Muskaan… Muskaan look down did you thought about it still in angry tone you have to be ashamed of yourself, you are a doctor but behave like a child, a kid! You’re suspended.

Muskaan – WHAT?

Rahul – Mam, what?! Who was pretending that he is not listening

Muskaan – but mam…

Keerti – NO BUTS, Doctor Muskaan, a patient nearly died because of your childish behavior.

Rahul – but doctor Keerti, Muskaan …

Keerti – doctor Rahul, keep your personal life separated from professional life, you two is husband and wife but here… JUST DOCTORS, is that clear?

Rahul n Muskaan – yes Doctor Keerti

Keerti – good, doctor Muskaan, I would like to see some changes when you comeback

Both Rahul and Muskaan look down, Keerti look at them both and leave. Muskaan start looking upset, Rahul put his arm around her uncomfortably and not sure.

Corridor outside the Fire Escape

Armaan walking toward to his ward to start working, when he was pulled by Riddhima to the fire escape, and took Armaan in surprise. She pushes him gently toward the wall and put her hands on her hip.

Riddhima – so lover boy?

Armaan look behind him but only saw the wall and look back at Ridz asking if she is talking to him. Ridz nod with a smile.

Armaan – sarcastically finally, our Miss Riddhima Shashank Gupta remembered about this little Doctor Armaan Mali. Ridz look at him confuse, WELL DONE Clapping you did a great job IGNORING me

Riddhima – Oh! So lover boy is angry because I ignore you… so lover bo…

Armaan – pulled her closer, I am not a lover boy… only yours and it hurts me a lot whenever you don’t talk to me.

Riddhima – so that mean the more I don’t talk to you the more it gona hurt you… OK… evil grin

Armaan understand what Ridz wants to do and came closer and closer to her and slowly Ridz’s smile fade away and start stepping back slowly but they were looking at each other all the time. Armaan came closer to her, when he was only few meters away. Ridz took the neck less out and told it front of his face.

Riddhima – you didn’t put this on me… Armaan gave an impress smile and put the neck less on her and kissed her cheek, Ar… Armaan… Coffee?

Cafeteria

When Ridz and Armaan go in to the café they saw Anji and Atul having a nice comfortable chat, Ridz gave and apology look to Armaan and they both went and sit with Anji and Atul

Armaan – Hey beautiful, hey champ…

Atul – Hey Armaan, hi Ridz moving the seat next to him for Armaan

Riddhima – Hey sitting next to Anji

Anjali – Hi guys, so Armaan?

Armaan – So what Anji?...

Atul – Forget it... you know Armaan pulling him closer and it look like he is saying a secret but bit loud that the rest can also hear him to day I become a real hero… I mean a champ

Armaan – Oh really? Armaan and Ridz look at Anji in confuse and got bit closer to Atul

Atul – Oh yeh… Anji… Anjali was about to fall off but I saved her…. Anji was drinking coffee but when she heard him saying she was ‘about to fall off’ it made her choke

Riddhima - Slowly patting Anji’s back so you become Anjali didi’s hero?

Atul – You can say that… Right Anjali?

Armaan – Well done, you made your bro happy and proud

Atul – Thank you thank you, don’t be jealous Armaan look at Atul open mouth and confuse about what he is saying anyways what going on for interns of the mouth, who do you think will be chosen?

Armaan – Well this time it surely gona me pointing both hands at himself

Anjali – Oh yeh? Tell me one thing WHY?

Armaan – Well… of course Riddhima should be really tired of winning every month, and I do some work too. You know

Riddhima – So that mean you are the only one who do work here…

Armaan – well….

Atul – Hey, hey, why not both of you just rest and give us some chance…

Anjali – Really Atul? I heard from somewhere that the best one wins… and well all know that Ridz is good

Armaan – Yeh like last year looking at the side pretending he didn’t say anything but rest knew that he did

Anjali – The way Ridz handle the burn patient, she was really good

Atul – What about Armaan and the patient who try to suicide look at Armaan who was it?

Armaan – Rohit

Anjali – What about urm… urm... The lung problem person… I don’t know his name look at Ridz for help

Atul – Oh yeh? Then Armaan with Mr. Behja’s case

Anjali – Folding her arms I also part of it

Atul – Laugh, Ridz and Anjali and Armaan look puzzle then Anjali, I am also part of the Sharm’s case Anjali gave him a questioning look while Ridz look down and Armaan just trying to figure out why they fighting because Ridz and him the lung problem person… Both Atul and Armaan laugh and gave hi5

Riddhima – Standing up hitting the table with both hands guys stop it, looking at Armaan and pointing like all other time you will be just watching when someone else going to take the award.

Armaan – Standing up hitting the table with both hands but bit louder oh yeh, Miss Riddhima Shashank Gupta, oh I am sorry… Dr Basket.

Riddhima – Taking away her finger Oh yeh? We will see, Dr Ammi…

Armaan – Moving his side to side and coming closer to Riddhima W E W I L L S E E… Point at Ridz and Ridz gave him evils and point her finger at him as well

Both Ridz and Armaan were like about to fight when they saw Muskaan and Rahul entering to the café. Muskaan crying and out loud and Rahul tries to calm her down. So the attention from the interns went straight to Muskaan. Ridz hug her at once when she came closer and they all asked what happen but she didn’t reply only cry. Muskaan sit between Ridz and Anji when everyone was just standing and staring at her.

Anjali – What happen? Handing some tissues

Muskaan – I …I …I cry and wiping her tears

Riddhima – Muskaan… I?

Armaan – Muskaan… its ok take your time

Muskaan – I… Rahul!? Cry again but this time not much louder

Rahul – Everybody turns to Rahul for some explanation well… Muskaan… well she is…

Atul – Rahoool say it properly yaar and let it out

Anjali – Atul, let him speak then?

Rahul – Thank you Anji, well Muskaan, she is….

Muskaan – I am suspended cry more loudly, except Rahul who was nodding, all the others around the table look shock at Muskaan for second because at the same time they have to close their ears to prevent them going deaf

Atul – Moving closer to where Muskaan sit, still close ears OK, OK now will you STOP!! Shouting so Muskaan will hear him

Muskaan – Aare hitting his shoulder, quite hard my job is gone and you telling me to STOP!!

Atul – OUCH holding his shoulder in pain what did I do? Rahul came near him and pull him and push him slowly toward to the other side where Armaan standing

Armaan – Atul… champ still having his hands over his ears this is not Anjali OK!!, this is Muskaan Atul gave him confuse look

Riddhima – To Muskaan, seating next to her, she puts her arm around Muskaan and gently speak to her stop it now, you didn’t loose your job forever Muskaan stop crying, Anji Armaan, Atul took their hands of from their ears and sat in their places

Rahul – Seating down yes Muskaan, it’s only 5 days

Armaan – Yeh Muskaan, I wish I am in your place, I mean 5 days of holiday trying to comfort her

Atul – Aare no, no, no putting his arm around Armaan and puling him closer pointing a finger as if he forcing him to if you go on holiday, what will happen to interns of them month? everybody put their hands on their forehead, Ridz just shake her head and Anji move her hands and pretend to kill him, Muskaan start weeping again, Atul look around the table scared and puzzle did I say something that I shouldn’t say?

Rahul – Yep A LOT

Armaan – Trying to change the subject when you have to go?

Muskaan – I have to finish my work today and from tomorrow I am not coming…

Atul – But… Before even say anything Rahul and Armaan close his mouth

Armaan – He he a fly...

Rahul –YEP, you lot carry on

Armaan – Slowly taking his hand away from Atul and whispering If you say one more thing to make her cry again, I don’t know about Rahul but I surely gona beat you up

Atul – Whispering but what did I do?

Rahul – Whispering because we don’t want to get deaf in young age…

The boys turn back to the girls and Rahul about to say something when the announcement comes on

Announcer – All the inters please report to Dr Keerti in her cabin. All the inters please report to Dr Keerti in her cabin.

Rahul – What now?

Atul – Oi Rahul we gave to go and find out

Armaan – Shall we go?

Riddhima – We have to go

Muskaan – Bit upset lets go!!

Anjali – Common then guys who is already near the café door

They all stand up and walk to Dr Keerti’s cabin as soldiers from army marching.

Dr Keerti’s Cabin Room

Keerti – Handing some files to each interns except Muskaan interns, I am sure you already know that one of your colleague is suspended for a week everyone including Dr Keerti look at Muskaan therefore I want to change the schedule. Dr Armaan that file you have is patient Ranveer, who is… was Dr Muskaan attended, read the case carefully and you now take care of it and for now your not in charge of the Mr. Behja’s case with Anjali… you may leave now… Armaan nod once and look at others then leave the room Dr Riddhima you taking care of Dr Armaan’s case which Dr Anjali is also a part of, that file will tall you more and I am sure Dr Anjali will too.

Anjali – Both Anji and Ridz exchange a smile Yes Mam…

Keerti – Great, Dr Riddhima you may also leave now… Dr Atul…

Corridor Outside The Fire Escape

Riddhima leave the room leaving rest inside the cabin she walk to her ward to start working. On the corridor she start to get early start on Mr. Behja’s case and start reading the file when she felt someone pull her and it was Armaan they both went to fire escape and Ridz still in shock from the surprise pulling from Armaan

In The Fire Escape Stairs

Riddhima – Armaan, what you doing, I have to go you know

Armaan – I hope you ready…

Riddhima – Ready for what?

Armaan – Oh don’t tell me you just forgot Ridz didn’t answer INTERNS OF THE MONTH?

Riddhima – I thought it was a joke, you know I don’t want to fight you Armaan shake his head and Ridz realize that he is serious OK Armaan Malik, but remember you challenge the wrong person.

Armaan – I am soooooooooooooo sure I challenge the right person… You scared?

Riddhima – Scared? We will se who will be scared and who is not, see you at the battle field she wink at him and left the fire escape

Armaan –To himself battle field? Riddhima!

PRECAP--------
Only Armaan and Riddhima in the locker room. Armaan looking at her lovingly and Riddhima ignoring him.


Armaan – So you lie to them…
Riddhima – I didn’t actually lie… there is a new doctor coming and I have to help her
Armaan – very excited Intern Doctor!?
Riddhima – you never change gave him a disgust look and walk off
